To give information and encouragement, both antenatal and postnatal to mothers who want to breast feed their babies. Services Description Services offered: – Groups in centres throughout New Zealand – Telephone help at any time – Additional meetings available periodically in some areas- Free lending library
- Books and leaflets for sale – Mother-to-mother support. Monthly meetings to discuss: – Advantages of breastfeeding
- Childbirth and the new baby at home
- The art of breastfeeding and overcoming difficulties
- Nutrition and weaning
- Parenting toddlers and older children
- Working and breastfeeding.
Costs There is an optional annual membership of $36 a year, subject to change.
