To provide free, quality palliative care to everyone who needs it. Hospice New Zealand has 37 hospices under its umbrella. Services Description -Specialised care for people who are terminally ill -Family / whanau support -Bereavement services -Counselling services -Alternative therapy All 37 of the country’s hospices come under the national body.Costs Hospice care is provided without charge for all people in need, regardless of religion, race, gender or age.
Referrals GPs can refer patients, but specialists, hospitals, health professionals, district nurses and self referrals can also be made.
